Electronic timing for the Gate Gallop began in 2014.
Since the start of electronic timing, the male course record for the 10k race was set in 2019 by Lloyd Biddell of Mercia Fell Runners in a fantastic time of 33:57.
The ladies record for the 10k race is held by Jenny Laing of South Derbyshire Road Runners, who ran the course in 41:14 in 2017.
Those are the times to beat in 2023!
